Moonshot - 23x21

Quote puzzles, I’ve heard, can be divisive among cruciverbalists, for reasons I don’t fully understand. As a solver, I tend to enjoy them. The quotes are almost always interesting or amusing in some way, and bring a kind of fun similar to an acrostic. I would think that as most crossword fans are language lovers they would be more popular, but perhaps for some these puzzles can feel like a bit of a slog. To that end I’ve tried to fill the grid with lots of bonus goodies.

This grid’s quote comes from David Mitchell, one of my favorite comedians, who unintentionally was also loosely related to the last special puzzle. The quote concerns his take on conspiracy theories, but can also be interpreted more broadly as a reminder that while a healthy dose of skepticism is a good thing, too much is - as with all things - anything but. The original quote can be found here after solving. Note that I decided to take small liberties with both adding and removing a contraction to the quote for symmetry, but it otherwise remains unchanged.
